Are you interested in contributing to the development of the the East Lothian Climate Action Network, which steers the activities of the Climate Hub?
The East Lothian Climate Action Network are recruiting new Steering Group Members. This is a voluntary post, which requires about a day a month on average, including some evening meetings and weekend events.

Then please submit a brief CV and a thorough cover letter, perhaps accompanied by a video if you wish, outlining your relevant experience and explaining your suitability for the position to elcanchair@eastlothianclimatehub.org by 5pm 9 December 2024.
ELCAN, which is empowered by the activities of the Climate Hub, is comprised of community volunteer groups, charities and other organisations, including climate-orientated businesses, in East Lothian. The Hub is hosted by Lil CIC (Lower Impact Living) on behalf of ELCAN, which oversees governance, HR, finance and policy, etc. The ELCAN Steering Group, which we are recruiting for, steers and guides the direction and strategy of ELCAN.
We are very interested in recruiting members from diverse backgrounds, who may bring different experiences, perspectives and skills. ELCAN is strongly considering constituting as an independent group in the near future, and Steering Group members with a background in making decisions related to constituting an organisation and then serving on a more formal board of directors would be very welcome.
