For who?
The Climate Hub is the sum of all communities, groups and organisations that want to take climate and environmental action in East Lothian.
We aim to keep social equity in the heart of what we do, as know that climate change will not impact us all equally and not all our voices are always heard equally.
Areas we work through
East Lothian Climate Action Network
The East Lothian Climate Action Network (ELCAN) is a collaboration of community-led groups, organisations, and businesses. These organisations are supported by and guide the activities of the Climate Hub. Together, we organise training, provide resources, facilitate peer to peer learning, and support each other’s projects and ideas.
Themed Collective Action
Our Themed Collective Action focuses on Food, Biodiversity, Energy and Circular Economy and looks to increase and upscale action and push for change from above. Anyone can get involved with these work areas.
Resources
We will provide resources in the form of learnings, case studies, toolkits, information and signposting on our website for anyone who wants to access them.
Funding
For ELCAN members will provide funding support through our Seed Grants and support with fundraising.
