Climate action.
Community power.
Social equity.
Welcome to the East Lothian Climate Hub
Climate change and the environment affects all of us. From increasing flooding; to food affordability; the livelihoods of farmers; access to green spaces in towns to the health of our wildlife in wider East Lothian.
The Climate Hub is a network of relationships, support and collaboration focused on climate change and thriving communities.
We will:
- Help transform how communities think about climate change and how it impacts them
- Support Thematic Collective Action, across food, biodiversity, energy and circular economy
- Increase capacity of ELCAN members
Green Futures Festival: Three Events, One Festival
The Green Futures Festival is East Lothian’s celebration of communities acting on climate and nature issues.
The GFF is back and bigger than ever in 2026 with three mini-festivals that look to support and grow the movement. There’s something for everyone.
- BUILDING SUSTAINABLE ACTION Saturday 24TH January, Prestonpans Community Centre
- FAIR FUTURES FESTIVAL Wednesday 4th March, Corn Exchange, Haddington
- HADDSTOCK Saturday 30th May, Haddington
The programme features dozens of talks ranging from international Climate Voices sharing lived experience of the drastic effects of the climate crisis, to hyperlocal guidance on breathing life into your own small garden.
