Welcome to the East Lothian Climate Hub
Climate change and the environment affects all of us. From increasing flooding; to food affordability; the livelihoods of farmers; access to green spaces in towns to the health of our wildlife in wider East Lothian.
The Climate Hub is a network of relationships, support and collaboration focused on climate change and thriving communities.
We will:
- Help transform how communities think about climate change and how it impacts them
- Support Thematic Collective Action, across food, biodiversity, energy and circular economy
- Increase capacity of ELCAN members
Green Futures Festivals
Our Green Future Festivals see communities groups from across East Lothian working on climate and environmental action come together to showcase and celebrate their work.
The programme features dozens of talks ranging from international Climate Voices sharing lived experience of the drastic effects of the climate crisis, to hyperlocal guidance on breathing life into your own small garden.
It is a wonderful day of inspiration, hope and showing what action you can get involved in.
The 2025 Green Futures Festival, took place on 22 March. We look forward to seeing you next year!
