ELCAN Policy Circle

Community-led Advocacy for Climate and Nature Action

The East Lothian Climate Action Network Policy Circle aims to influence policy development and its implementation at both local authority and national government levels.

The Policy Circle comprises volunteers drawn from various ELCAN member groups. While the current focus is biodiversity and housing development, the Policy Circle is actively considering which other areas they might usefully prioritise going forward. In addition, they consider responses to various consultations.  Any outputs from the Policy Circle are considered by the ELCAN Board prior to issue.

If you would like to propose policy areas which could usefully be strengthened in support of nature and climate action, have concerns about policy implementation,  or would like to be involved in the Policy Circle’s discussions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via tess@eastlothianclimatehub.org

We look forward to hearing from you
